Class B CDL: Driver

Job description

Our family-owned company is seeking a dedicated and reliable CDL Class B Driver to join our team. As a critical member of our organization, you will be responsible for local hauls, ensuring timely pick-ups and deliveries. Responsibilities

1. Map routes to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries
2. Communicate with dispatch regarding any changes as needed
3. Navigate routes using GPS and/or other routing systems
4. Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, check tire pressure, complete DVIRs)
5. Maintain ELDs and daily route paperwork
6. Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to weather/road conditions
7. Perform all job duties in accordance with company safety policies and regulations

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
2. Possess and maintain a valid Class B driver's license
3. Pass a background check, drug screen, and driving record check
4. Experience operating Roll off, Front load, and Rear load trucks is a plus but not required
5. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
