About the Job:

Thornton’s Dumpster Rental and Tree Service is seeking a dedicated and skilled Class B CDL Driver to join our expanding tree and roll-off dumpster rental company. This role is essential for ensuring the timely and professional delivery of our services to customers within a 300-mile radius, including occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class B CDL vehicle to deliver roll-off dumpsters to residential and commercial locations, ensuring accurate and safe placement.
• Perform CDL vehicle pre-trips and routine maintenance checks to ensure safe operation of the vehicle.
• Operate various pieces of equipment, including mini skid loaders, mini loaders, full-sized skid loaders, and front-end loaders.
• Travel within a 300-mile radius of Abilene, TX and surrounding areas in Texas and Oklahoma, with occasional overnight stays as required.
• Assist tree crews on out-of-town jobs by helping with tasks such as raking, blowing off roads, pulling limbs, and operating equipment to complete jobs efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL or higher.
• Proficiency in CDL vehicle pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Experience operating mini skid loaders, mini loaders, full-sized skid loaders, and front-end loaders.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.
• Ability to work collaboratively with tree crews and other team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
