Job summary

American Welding & Gas (AWG) is seeking a Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Appleton, WI to load, transport and deliver CO2 and cryogenic liquids while complying with SOPs and regulations. The role includes managing paperwork, maintaining logs, and ensuring vehicle safety.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Clean driving record.
• Read and write English.
• Able to move and lift heavy cylinders (50–100 lbs).
• Successful completion of pre-employment screenings (drug screen, DOT physical, road test).
• Ability to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Move, load and unload cylinders safely.
• Deliver CO2 and cryogenic liquids in tankers or cryogenic vessels.
• Follow SOPs and DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Complete shipping papers and delivery tickets accurately.
• Keep vehicle clean and maintain electronic trip logs.

American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Appleton, WI. This position requires a Class B CDL with HazMat & Tanker endorsements.

Duties

• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
• Responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering CO2 and cryogenic liquids in transport tankers and/or cryogenic vessels
• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
• Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled
• Maintain electronic trip-logs
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
• Clean driving record
• Able to read and write English
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test
• Ability to communicate with customers Drug Free work environment.
