Job summary

The Lexington, KY office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Commercial Litigation Practice. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 15 years of experience handling commercial litigation and large class actions, including experience representing institutional SFR/BTR companies in all areas of defense litigation.

• Admitted to the Kentucky Bar is required.
• 2 to 15 years of experience handling commercial litigation and large class actions.
• Experience defending institutional SFR/BTR companies in defense litigation.
• Superior writing, strong analytical and research abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation including drafting and reviewing pleadings, legal research and analysis.
• Manage motion practice and oral advocacy in complex commercial matters and class actions.
• Represent clients with strong writing and communication throughout proceedings.

Job description

The Lexington, KY office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Commercial Litigation Practice.

The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) to fifteen (15) years of experience handling commercial litigation and large class actions, including experience representing institutional SFR/BTR companies in all areas of defense litigation such as fair housing, criminal investigations by state Attorney General offices, employment, and national operational compliance. The candidate should have demonstrated experience in all aspects of litigation, with a focus on complex commercial matters and class actions. This position will handle all phases of litigation, including drafting and reviewing pleadings, legal research and analysis, motion practice, and oral advocacy. Superior writing skills, strong analytical and research abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential to this position. Admission to the Kentucky Bar is required. Admission to the Alabama Bar is a plus.
