Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking a Class A Yard Switcher to join our on-site team. 1st shift hours are 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with an expectation to cover 2nd shift 2pm to 10:30pm or 3rd shift 10pm to 6:30am as needed.

Compensation includes a pay rate of $23/hour, with benefits after 90 days such as Blue Cross Blue Shield medical, dental & vision, paid holidays and personal time, plus a 401K option. This role requires a valid AL CDL and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid AL Class A CDL license required.
• 3 months yard switcher experience or 6 months tractor/trailer experience.
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
