Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking a CLASS A Yard Switcher for 1st shift, 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with coverage for 2nd shift 2pm to 10:30pm or 3rd shift 10pm to 6:30am as needed. Pay rate: $23/hour.

Benefits after 90 days include Blue Cross Blue Shield medical, dental & vision, paid holidays, vacation & personal time, and a 401K plan. Candidates must have a valid AL Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and be able to perform offsite fueling as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires valid AL Class A CDL license.
• Minimum 3 months yard switcher experience or 6 months tractor/trailer experience.
• No DUI/OWI in last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years.
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in last 3 years.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
