Job summary

Universal Logistics in Alabama is hiring a Class A Yard Switcher. 1st shift 6am-2:30pm Monday through Friday. This position may cover 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm or 3rd shift 10pm-6:30am as needed.

Pay rate is $23/hour. Benefits after 90 days include BCBS Medical, Dental & Vision; Paid Holidays, Vacation & Personal Time; 401K. Requirements include valid AL Class A CDL, yard switcher or tractor/trailer experience, clean driving record, and DOT Medical Card.

Qualifications

• Valid AL Class A CDL license is required.
• Minimum 3 months yard switcher experience or 6 months tractor/trailer experience.
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
