Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a reliable Class A Yard Jockey with a clean Class A license to maneuver large trucks in the Baltimore plant, load/unload trailers, and supervise yard operations. The role requires at least 3 years of experience with straight trucks/tractor trailers up to 53 ft and active DOT Clearinghouse compliance.

Join a healthcare service provider offering a stable, non-seasonal workload with 40–50 hours per week on a direct-hire basis.

Qualifications

• Class A license required.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• 3+ years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53 ft.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• FADV Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse compliance.
• Ability to communicate with yard and warehouse teams.

We are seeking a reliable, hands‑on Class A Yard Jockey with a Class A license and experienced with maneuvering large trucks across the Baltimore Plant as well as loading and unloading trailers and trucks!

• Moving trailers and equipment throughout the yard using a yard truck
• Position trailers accurately for efficient loading and unloading
• Load and unload trailers in support of warehouse operations
• Perform daily safety inspections on yard trucks and equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard
• Communicate with yard and warehouse teams to ensure efficient operations
• Safely operate straight trucks and tractor trailers (26’–53’)
• Heavy lifting REQUIRED!!
• Class A license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
