Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified Class A Walking Floor Driver to join our Transportation team in California. The role requires a CDL and focuses on safe, efficient movement of materials using Walking Floor trailers.

You will ensure timely, compliant deliveries while supporting our environmental sustainability commitments. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with early morning hours and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required; endorsements preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.
• Reliability and meeting delivery deadlines.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Walking Floor Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies for safe transportation.
• Inspect and maintain Walking Floor Trailers and report issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently per procedures.
• Complete paperwork such as logbooks and delivery receipts accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety compliance.
• Follow routes and schedules, adjust as needed for changes.
• Comply with environmental regulations and company disposal guidelines.
