Job summary

Goodwill Southern California is hiring a Truck Driver – Class A to transport goods between facilities and vendor locations. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, comply with DOT safety rules, and handle loading/unloading with lift gates, while delivering professional customer service.

We value 2–3 years of Class A experience, a CA Class A license, DOT Medical Certificate, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Class A driving experience preferred.
• Valid CA Class A license and DOT Medical Certificate.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• Must pass Big Joe Operator certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections using Geotab.
• Follow DOT, DMV, and company safety regulations at all times.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload goods efficiently and safely.
• Complete all required documentation, including manifests and supply records.
• Use lift gates and pallet jacks safely and effectively.
• Maintain professional appearance and deliver excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate dependable attendance and route reliability.
• Maintain your valid CA Class A license and DOT Medical Certificate.
