General Summary

Company drivers are responsible for timely delivery of freight between distribution centers, stores, and vendors, including hauling, unloading, and returning freight and rolltainers, ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight safely and efficiently, adhering to policies and regulations. (40%)
• Unload and reload freight and rolltainers at each stop, ensuring safety and proper handling. (30%)
• Provide professional customer service to store teams, vendors, and distribution staff. (10%)
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain records as required by law. (10%)
• Operate vehicles in compliance with all laws and regulations. (10%)

Knowledge and Skills

• Willing to travel overnight routinely and work any day of the week.
• Physical ability to squat, reach, push, pull, and lift freight up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to handle equipment and work in severe weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL and six months of tractor/trailer experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
