Ryder System, Inc. in Corvallis, OR is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a path for a rewarding trucking career within a nationwide logistics leader.

Base pay is $29.00 per hour with an extra $1 for every 3 endorsements, overtime after 40 hours, and per diem. Expect 40+ hours weekly, travel pay, tenure bonuses, paid training, and a Monday–Friday schedule with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass Ryder drug test.
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check for last 3 years.
• Must have Class A CDL and endorsements.

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $29.00 Per Hour Base Pay Plus Additional $1 for Every 3 Certifications/Endorsements
• Overtime Paid After 40 Hours
• Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week
• Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or Sleeper

• Tenure Bonus: Pays You $1000 each year you are with the company from Nov. 1- to Oct. 31

• Deliver SOLOTo: Western 11 States
• Route: Regional OTR
• Tractor Type: Day cab or Sleeper, Straight Truck
• TrailerType:Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed 28’, 48', 53’
• Equipment: Electric Pallet Jack
• Flatbed 6 - 9 months Experience preferred
• Doubles 3 months experience preferred
• Able to accept automatic restrictions.
• Freight:Combination of Touch and No Touch Freight

Ryder Drivers operate well-maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
