Job summary

Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. in City of Industry, CA is hiring a Class A Tractor Trailer Truck Driver. You will drive a lowboy tractor trailer, load equipment safely, and deliver to City of Industry and surrounding areas while showcasing equipment on-site.

You’ll train in safe operation, complete documentation accurately, and interact with customers throughout a fast-paced day on the road. A Class A license and clean driving record are required, with forklift training available.

Qualifications

• 1+ years commercial driving experience; tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Class A license with a good driving record and a DOT medical certificate.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Ability to do some heavy lifting.
• Ability to operate a forklift (training is available).

Responsibilities

• Drive a lowboy tractor trailer and safely pick up and deliver equipment in City of Industry, CA and surrounding areas.
• Load equipment on truck and ensure proper, safe loading.
• Perform on-site product demos and instruct customers on safe operation of equipment.
• Prepare all required documentation accurately and timely.
• Interact with customers in a fast-paced day on the road.
