Job description

We are seeking engaged, driven individuals with an active CDL license to join our team of Mixer Operators at SRM Concrete.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate a concrete mixer truck to transport and deliver concrete products.
2. Ensure timely delivery of concrete products to residential and commercial sites while maintaining a courteous and professional interaction with the customers and the public.
3. Conduct pre-and post-trip inspections on the mixer truck to ensure its proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs.
4. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all team members and the public.
5. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and other relevant documentation as required.
6. Work closely with the dispatch team to ensure efficient scheduling and routing of deliveries.
7. Assist in other duties as assigned, including general maintenance tasks or supporting other team members in the production process.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A or B license.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record.
• Physically able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in varying weather conditions.
• No unexplained gaps in employment history.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and adaptability.
• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator or in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base pay range: $26.00/hr - $27.00/hr.
• Growth opportunities, home daily schedule, competitive hourly pay with bonuses and raises.

• Overtime after 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly.
