What You’ll Do:

• Promote Safety: Prioritize safety at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Drive: Operate tractor-trailer or 5-axle/Quad-Axle dump trucks to transport materials.
• Inspect and Maintain: Check trucks for defects before and after trips, keep vehicles clean and in good working order, perform weekly tire inspections.
• Submit Reports: Provide reports on truck condition and maintain driver logs as per regulations.
• Follow Standard Procedures: Adhere to equipment standards, secure loads, and load/unload materials safely.
• Perform Physical Activities: Engage in activities such as cleaning vehicles, inspecting loads, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience: CDL experience or training preferred.
• Driving: Valid Class A CDL, approved driver, current physical and medical card.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and present information effectively.
• Math Skills: Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with units of measurement.
• Flexibility: Willing to work overtime, extended hours, and outside in all weather conditions.
