Job description

Class A or B CDL Propane Delivery Driver

Ephrata, PA

• Pick up & deliver propane to local residential, commercial, and agricultural customers using the latest technology to deliver propane in a safe, punctual, efficient, and professional manner
• Follow all guidelines and regulations for hauling propane
• Perform a visual inspection of the truck first thing in the morning and last thing at the end of your shift
• Maintain thecleanliness of the truck both inside and out
• Report all accidents, traffic violations, and damage to vehicles, as well as any needed truck maintenance, to the dispatcher for scheduling
• Willing to drive and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Provide excellent customer service, treating all customers in a friendly and courteous manner

Sweetwater Propane Inc. is a local propane company that focuses on meeting our customers' needs. Our professional team utilizes their knowledge, abilities, and resources to enrich the lives of our customers, community, and each other. We are looking for a Class A or Class B CDL Propane Delivery Driver to deliver propane to customers in our local delivery area. This position will work from our Ephrata or New Holland locations.

Our Ideal Class A or B CDL Propane Delivery Driver:

• Licensed: Class A or B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake certifications. Must be at least 25 years old
• Clean Record: Must have a clean driving history, pass a DOT physical, and pass a drug screen
• Active: Able to lift and pull equipment that weighs approx. 50-75 lbs. plus drive and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Customer Service Oriented: You are the face of our company for many of our customers. Must be friendly and courteous
• Honest: We're a small, faith-based team, and we value honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness in all our interactions
• Flexible: Start at 6 a.m. Work approximately 30 hours a week during the less busy summer months and approximately 60 hours a week during the busier winter months.
