Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions, Inc. is actively seeking safety-minded Linehaul Drivers for routes in Fargo, ND. The role involves transferring freight across designated locations, hooking and unhooking trailers, and handling required DOT paperwork.

Drivers are home daily with weekends off, enabling a solid work-life balance and reliable home time. Qualified candidates hold a valid Class A CDL, are at least 21 years old, and have about a year of experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years of age
• 1 year of commercial driving experience
• No DUI’s or DWI’s (in the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 traffic violations (in past 3 years)
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willing to obtain - renewals reimbursable
• Successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Hook up and haul trailers between our customer/terminal locations as instructed by dispatch or immediate supervisor
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point
• Operate tractor-trailer combinations for extended periods and long distances

SHIFT: Monday-Friday, (3am Start)
ROUTE: Fargo, ND - Bismarck, ND - Fargo, ND ($290.08/day)
PAY: $0.74 per mile (doubles) + $5,000 sign on bonus!
REPORTS TO: Service Center Manager

Physical Demands

• Must be able to frequently enter and exit the cab of a commercial vehicle.
• Must be able to carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for a distance of up to 20 feet.
• Must be able to hook and unhook various commercial vehicle combinations, to manually lower and raise landing gear, to operate fifth wheel release levers, to lock and release pintle-hooks, to attach and release safety chains, to open and close cargo doors, to climb into and out of vehicles, and to fuel and check oil/coolant levels of vehicles.
