Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions in Denver, CO seeks safety‑conscious Class A Linehaul Drivers. You will transfer freight to designated locations, hook and unhook trailers, and complete required government and company paperwork. Drivers are home daily with weekends off to support work‑life balance.

Earn $0.79 per mile with a $5,000 sign‑on bonus. Regarded for consistent miles on a Western/Central US route, with strong safety records and DOT readiness expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and Hazmat endorsements or willingness to obtain.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years and no more than 3 traffic violations in 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Hook up and haul trailers between customer/terminal locations as instructed.
• Ensure shipping docs are ready for DOT inspections and accompany shipments.
• Operate tractor-trailer over long distances.

SHIFT: 6pm start time, Monday-Friday

ROUTE: Denver, CO to Pueblo, CO to Denver, CO

PAY: $0.79/mile ($36/hour for pick & delivery) + $5,000 sign on bonus!

JOB SUMMARY

This position requires transferring freight to specified locations in a timely manner, hook and unhook commercial trailers, and complete all paperwork required by government regulations and company procedures/policies. Our Linehaul Drivers are home daily with weekends off, allowing them to enjoy a healthy work-life balance. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Hook up and haul trailers between our customer/terminal locations as instructed by dispatch or immediate supervisor
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point
• Operate tractor-trailer combination for extended periods of time, over long distances

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years of age
• 1 year of commercial driving experience
• No DUI's or DWI's (in the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 traffic violations (in past 3 years)
• Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain - renewals reimbursable
• This position requires successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to frequently enter and exit the cab of a commercial vehicle.
• Must be able to carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for a distance of up to 20 feet.
• Must be able to hook and unhook various commercial vehicle combinations, to manually lower and raise landing gear, to operate fifth wheel release levers, to lock and release pintle-hooks, to attach and release safety chains, to open and close cargo doors, to climb into and out of vehicles, and to fuel and check oil/coolant levels of vehicles.
