Ritchie Trucking Service Holdings, Inc. is seeking experienced Class A Line-Haul Drivers to safely transport freight between terminals and customer locations.

This full-time role involves long-distance, terminal-to-terminal runs with evening or overnight hours, prioritizing safety, reliability, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include line-haul operations, hooking/dropping trailers, inspections, logs, and documenting shipments while staying compliant with DOT/FMSCA regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 1+ years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
• Must meet DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company regulations.
• Perform line-haul freight transportation between terminals on scheduled routes.
• Hook and drop trailers, including doubles and/or triples as required.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate logbooks, trip reports, and required documentation (ELD, BOLs, etc.).
• Adhere to assigned schedules to ensure timely delivery and meet service commitments.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminal staff, and operations management.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while representing the company.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager/supervisor.

Position Summary

Ritchie Trucking Service Holdings, Inc. is seeking experienced Class A Line-Haul Drivers to safely and efficiently transport freight between designated terminals and customer locations. This position is primarily responsible for long-distance, terminal-to-terminal runs, often during evening or overnight hours, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company regulations
• Perform line-haul freight transportation between terminals on scheduled routes
• Hook and drop trailers, including doubles and/or triples as required
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly
• Maintain accurate logbooks, trip reports, and required documentation (ELD, BOLs, etc.)

Requirements

• Ability to operate in night and/or overnight schedules
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally

Work Schedule

• Line-haul routes with regular, scheduled runs
• Evening, night, weekend, and holiday work may be required
• Home daily or on a predictable schedule, depending on route assignment
