Job summary

Ritchie Trucking Service Holdings, Inc. is seeking experienced Class A Line-Haul Drivers to safely transport freight between terminals and customer locations on long-distance runs, often during evening or overnight hours.

Role emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, and clear communication with dispatch. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, and ability to meet DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• 1+ years verifiable Class A driving experience (preferred)
• Clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements
• Must meet DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening requirements
• Ability to operate night/overnight schedules
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A CMVs in compliance with DOT/FMCSA and company regulations
• Line-haul freight transportation between terminals on scheduled routes
• Hook and drop trailers, including doubles/triples as required
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report issues promptly
• Maintain logs/trip reports and required documentation (ELD, BOLs)
• Adhere to schedules to ensure timely delivery and service commitments
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and terminal staff
• Follow company safety policies at all times
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct while representing the company
• Other duties as assigned by management
