Job summary

TransForce Inc. seeks a Class A Hazmat Driver for local deliveries in Grand Rapids, MI. You will haul cleaning supplies, make up to seven stops daily, and perform light-touch freight handling, including wrapping skids and loading/unloading the trailer.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule, starting at 11:30 p.m., with about 10 hours per day. Must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant driving experience.
• Clean MVR with no major violations in the last 3 years.
• Must meet DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks and hi-los.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A vehicle on local delivery routes.
• Transport and deliver cleaning supplies to scheduled stops.
• Load and unload freight using material-handling equipment.
• Wrap and secure skids for safe transportation.
• Complete deliveries safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Follow all applicable transportation and safety regulations.

About the Position

TransForce is seeking Class A Hazmat Drivers for a local delivery position hauling cleaning supplies. Drivers will make up to seven stops per day and perform light-touch freight handling, including wrapping skids and loading and unloading the trailer.

• Pay: $27.80 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: 11:30 p.m.
• Daily hours: 10 hours per day

• Ability to safely handle freight and operate pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hi-los.
