Job summary

Clean Harbors in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. Responsibilities include driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste cleanup.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to obtain endorsements.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and physical as required.
• Must meet facial hair standards per respirator policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform manual labor on site to meet customer needs.
• Place/placard vehicles per DOT and company regulations.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Site remediation and handling of hazardous materials.
