Job summary

GEX Transport in Texas is seeking Class A drivers for long-haul opportunities. Recent graduates receive paid training with an experienced mentor; experienced drivers must have at least 6 months of Over the Road or Regional experience.

Duties include complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, delivering freight on time, operating a Class A tractor-trailer on long-haul routes, maintaining logs, and clear communication with dispatch.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Recent CDL A Truck Driving School Certificate of minimum of 120 hours.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background check.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and Hair Follicle Test.
• Minimum 6 months OTR/Regional experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on long-haul routes while learning safe driving practices and professional road conduct.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.
