Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking Class A drivers for long-haul routes with steady freight and supportive mentorship. Training is provided for recent graduates. Experienced drivers must have at least 6 months of OTR or regional experience and a clean driving record.

Weekly compensation ranges from $1,275 to $1,375 with approximately 2,500 miles per week. DOT drug screen and hair follicle test are required, along with valid CDL A and a recent CDL A school certificate.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Recent CDL A Truck Driving School Certificate of minimum of 120 hours.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background check.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and Hair Follicle Test.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on long-haul routes while learning safe driving practices and professional road conduct.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.
