Job summary

GEX Transport is hiring Class A truck drivers with a goal of delivering freight safely and on time. Drivers typically go home weekly, with competitive pay and steady freight.

New graduates are welcomed, orientation is paid, and training with a driver mentor is provided. 6 months of experience is required for experienced drivers, and the territory covers surrounding states with a weekly home-home cycle.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Recent CDL A Truck Driving School Certificate of minimum of 120 hours.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.
