Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified Class A Driver to join our Transportation team, focusing on safe flatbed hauling and cross-learning end-dump duties. The role requires a CDL and a strong safety mindset for timely deliveries.

The position offers pathways to learn multiple trailer types and contribute to sustainable material movement while supporting scrap transport operations. On-site work in Fontana, CA with morning shifts and a steady schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is REQUIRED with endorsements (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed trailers safely to transport materials.
• Follow traffic laws, regulations, and company policies for safe transport.
• Inspect and maintain the condition of flatbed trailers, reporting issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials securely, following proper procedures.
• Complete required paperwork (logbooks and delivery receipts) accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the flatbed trailers.
• Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as needed.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and company guidelines for disposal of materials.
