Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking an experienced Class A Flatbed Driver to join our Transportation team in Fontana, CA. The role involves safe flatbed hauling with occasional End-Dump cross-training, supporting scrap transportation goals. CDL is required, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will load/unload, complete logbooks, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries. The position offers full-time hours, competitive pay, and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL (REQUIRED) with endorsements preferred
• Minimum of 2 years verifiable Class A experience (REQUIRED)
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
• Demonstrated reliability and commitment to meeting delivery deadlines
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Flatbed Trailers to transport materials to designated locations
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies for safe transportation
• Inspect and maintain Flatbed Trailers, reporting issues promptly
• Load and unload materials securely and efficiently
• Complete required paperwork (logbooks, delivery receipts) accurately and on time
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members and clients
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety standards
• Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as needed
• Comply with environmental regulations and company guidelines for disposal
