Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking an experienced Class A End Dump Driver to join our Transportation team in Lancaster, CA. The role requires safe operation of end dump trailers, adherence to DOT regulations, and timely deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

You will inspect trailers, complete paperwork, and communicate with dispatch to maintain efficient routes. A CDL and at least 2 years of verifiable experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with end endorsements for operating End Dump Trailers.
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a Class A Driver (REQUIRED)
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Demonstrated reliability and a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Safely operate End Dump Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation.
• Inspect and maintain the condition of the End Dump Trailers, reporting any issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials in a secure and efficient manner, following proper procedures.
• Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the End Dump Trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and company guidelines for the proper disposal of materials.
