Job summary

Optimum Staffing, Inc is seeking a CDL-A driver for regional deliveries from Winchester, VA. You will operate a sleeper tractor-trailer on regional routes, delivering EPS foam products with up to 6 stops daily and occasional overnight layovers.

Expect an early start around 4:00 AM and a schedule Monday–Friday with 8–10 hour shifts. You must maintain a strong safety record and pass required DOT screenings, with weekly pay and OT after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 24 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Comfortable operating flatbed and 53′ van trailers.
• Ability to handle light-touch freight and multiple stops daily.
• Occasional overnight layovers may be required.
• Strong safety record and pass DOT, drug screen, background and MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EPS foam products including insulation, protective packaging, and marine materials.
• Operate sleeper truck on regional routes and complete pre/post-trip inspections.
• Maintain DOT compliance and accurate delivery paperwork.
• Provide safe, timely deliveries with excellent customer service.
• Make up to 6 delivery stops daily with occasional overnight layovers.

• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain DOT compliance, and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Provide safe, timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service and a strong commitment to safety.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required.
