Role Summary

Our team is currently recruiting skilled Class A CDL Regional Flatbed Operators to assist with our expanding logistics network, which involves distributing vinyl trim, siding, and molding across the country. This role involves regional travel and touch-freight duties, where you will be responsible for securing cargo with tarps and straps. Candidates should be prepared for a schedule that includes regular overnight stays and extended weekly hours. We are seeking reliable professionals who prioritize safety and possess the expertise to manage flatbed equipment while serving our regional client base.

Financial Details

• Base Pay: Earn $29.00 for every hour worked.
• Per Diem: Receive $30.00 for each qualifying overnight stay.
• Weekly Volume: Anticipate a schedule of 50–60 hours.
• Travel Requirements: Plan for 2–4 nights away from home each week.

Route and Scheduling Information

• Regional transit paths serving locations across the U.S.
• Expect a standard work commitment of 50–60 hours per week.
• Potential shift patterns include Sunday through Thursday, Monday through Friday, or Tuesday through Saturday.
• Operations may require staying out for the duration of the week or returning to the hub periodically.
• Anticipate an average of 2–4 overnight layovers during your weekly rotation.

Note: Candidates must demonstrate scheduling flexibility and a readiness for overnight travel, as final route assignments are dictated by current operational demands.

• Help maintain a safe working environment by inspecting and securing cargo throughout the journey.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip equipment evaluations.
• Ensure all deliveries arrive on time to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Keep precise records of driving logs and all necessary shipping documentation.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch and client personnel.
• Uphold all DOT mandates and internal safety protocols to ensure compliance for the entire team.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a current Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Prior experience in commercial transport, with a preference for flatbed backgrounds.
• Willingness to perform the physical tasks required to strap and tarp loads.
• Readiness to handle regional travel and frequent overnight stays.
• Capacity to commit to a 50–60 hour work week with a flexible schedule.
• Demonstrate a strong dedication to safety and reliability to ensure high-quality service.
• Physical capability to handle the demands of securing flatbed freight.

Forklift and Moffett certifications are not necessary. The touch-freight aspect of this position is limited to securing loads with straps and tarps, rather than operating powered loading equipment.
