Job summary

Optimum Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced CDL-A driver to haul auto parts within a 200-mile radius of Roanoke, VA. You will operate a Sleeper Cab with 48′ and 53′ trailers, perform touch freight, and maintain DOT compliance on 10–12 hour shifts, Monday through Saturday.

At a pay mix of $0.66 CPM plus per-stop and layover bonuses, drivers typically earn $1,600–$1,900+ per week for five days or $1,900–$2,200+ per week for six days. Hazmat endorsement and valid CDL-A are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsement.
• Minimum 24 months verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience operating a Sleeper Cab with 48′ and 53′ trailers.
• Comfortable performing touch freight with liftgate, PJ or EPJ.
• Ability to work Monday-Saturday with 10–12 hour shifts.
• Strong safety record and dependable attendance.
• Pass DOT Physical, Drug Screen, Background Check and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver auto parts and supplies to Advance Auto Parts stores within a 200-mile radius of Roanoke, VA.
• Operate a Sleeper Cab pulling 48′ and 53′ Dry Van trailers with liftgates.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain delivery paperwork.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies to ensure on-time deliveries.

Job description

• Earn $0.66 CPM + $17.05 Per Stop + $35 Per Layover | $1,600-$1,900+/Week (5 Days) or $1,900-$2,200+/Week (6 Days)
• Paid Weekly | Home Throughout the Week | Hazmat Required | Steady Year-Round Work
• Work Monday-Saturday with 10-12 hour shifts and varying dispatch times.
• Operate a Sleeper Cab pulling 48′ and 53′ Dry Van trailers with liftgates.
• Deliver auto parts and supplies to Advance Auto Parts stores within a 200-mile radius of Roanoke, VA.
• Perform touch freight by unloading freight using a liftgate, manual pallet jack (PJ), or electric pallet jack (EPJ).
• Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain DOT and Hazmat compliance, and ensure safe, accurate, on-time deliveries.
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining delivery paperwork and following all company safety procedures.
