Job summary

Valor is seeking Class A drivers for Regional Intermodal with a 5 days on/2 days off schedule, Tue-Sat, with an option for a 6th day. This full-time role offers no-touch freight and annual pay of $77K to $83K plus a $10K sign-on bonus. Drivers will pick up freight from railyards in St.

Louis and Kansas City and deliver to Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska. Trucks are automatic Freightliners, assigned to drivers, with home time during time off.

Qualifications

• 3 months verifiable Class A experience in last 6 months OR 6 months verifiable Class A experience in last 12 months
• 12 months verifiable Class A experience in last 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations or incidents in last 3 years; PSP warnings counted
• No major preventable accidents in last 3 years with cost > $25,000

Responsibilities

• Operate regional intermodal runs five days on, two off (Tue-Sat)
• Pick up freight from St. Louis and Kansas City railyards and deliver across OK, AR, MO, KS, IL, IA, NE
• All freight is no touch and trucks are automatic Freightliners
• Trucks are assigned to drivers and can be taken home during time off

Class A Drivers Regional Intermodal 5 on 2 Off No Touch (Full Time)
Types of Jobs: Dedicated Home Daily

Class A drivers run regional intermodal running five days on and two days off running Tue-Sat with drivers having option of picking their schedule (must be approved) and option for 6 th day of work. This is all no touch freight with annual pay of $77K to $83K with a $10K Sign On Bonus.

- Will pick up freight from railyards in St Louis and Kansas City with deliveries to Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska.

- All freight is no touch

- Drivers will have 120 days to receive Hazmat endorsement which will be reimbursed by carrier

- Trucks are automatic and are mostly Freightliners and assigned to drivers and drivers can take trucks home with them during hope time.

- Offer full benefits start after 30 days including PTO that accrues from day one and 401K with company matching.

Requirements:

- Experience:

o Either 3 months verifiable Class A experience in the last 6 months OR

o 6 months verifiable Class A Experience in the last 12 months

o 12 months verifiable in the last 5 years

o NOTE THAT TIME WITH TRAINER WILL COUNT IF RUNNING AS TEAM WITH TRAINER

- No more than 2 moving violations or incidents in the last three yearsand PSP warnings count towards a violation

- No more than 3 at fault minor incidents or accidents in the last three years

- No more than one highway accident in the last 12 months

- No major preventable accidents in the last three years in which the total accident cost was greater than $25,000

- Can not have failed a DOT Drug test in the last five years and must have one full year of safe driving under the SAP program

- If terminated from job for accidents must have 12 months safe driving experience

- If terminated from job for safety that was not an accident must be 6 months of safe driving

- All felonies and misdemeanors will be reviewed by safety but may not have any felonious drug charges in the last 7 years

- No more than two DUIs in a lifetime and none in the last five years

- No more than 5 jobs in last 3 years
