Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions in Lithia Springs, GA is hiring a Driver Trainee as part of the CDL Class A Training Program. No prior trucking experience required; 100% CDL training tuition and materials are paid through an approved partner school, and training pay is $26.00 per hour.

You will progress through a four-phase program from application and training to apprenticeship and full driver status, with on-the-job routes, mentor support, and opportunities for quarterly bonuses and day-one

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum age 21 for interstate routes; 18 for intrastate routes where applicable.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years with no major violations.
• Must pass background check, DOT drug screen, and FMCSA Clearinghouse query.
• Willingness to sign the Trulite training service agreement.

Responsibilities

• Complete the four-phase Driver Trainee program: application, training, apprenticeship and full driver status.
• Undergo HR screening, MVR/background review, DOT physical and Clearinghouse check.
• CDL training at partner school with classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction.
• Progress to local delivery routes under a driver mentor.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Driver Trainee, you'll move through Trulite's four-phase program:

• Application & Selection: HR screening, MVR/background review, DOT physical, and FMCSA Clearinghouse query
• CDL Training: classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel driving, DOT compliance, glass-specific load securement, and CDL skills testing through an approved partner driving school
• Driver Apprenticeship: supervised ride-along and local delivery routes with an assigned driver mentor, progressively increasing responsibility, and formal checkpoints at 30 and 60 days
• Full Driver Status: independent route assignment safely operating a Class A tractor-trailer to deliver glass and aluminum products

Skills You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age 21 for interstate routes (18 permitted for intrastate-only roles, where applicable)
• Valid driver's license held continuously for at least 3 years, with no at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years, and no DUI, reckless driving, or license suspension on record
• Able to pass a background check, DOT pre-employment drug screen, and FMCSA Clearinghouse query
• Willingness to sign the Trulite training service agreement
