Job summary

Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions is hiring for a Driver Trainee through the Trulite Driver Trainee Program in Conley, GA. You will receive paid CDL Class A training and start earning an hourly wage while you train.

The program includes four phases (application, CDL training, apprenticeship with a mentor, and transition to Full Driver Status) with growth and safety incentives. Benefits begin on day one, and performance-based pay incentives are available.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record and pass DOT pre-employment screenings.
• Willingness to sign the Trulite training service agreement.
• Ability to pass background checks and FMCSA Clearinghouse query.

Responsibilities

• Complete four-phase Driver Trainee program: application, selection, and screenings.
• Attend CDL training at an approved partner driving school.
• Participate in Driver Apprenticeship with ride-along and stepwise responsibilities.
• Achieve Full Driver Status by independently operating a Class A tractor-trailer to deliver glass and aluminum products.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Driver Trainee, you\'ll move through Trulite\'s four-phase program:

• Application & Selection: HR screening, MVR/background review, DOT physical, and FMCSA Clearinghouse query
• CDL Training: classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel driving, DOT compliance, glass-specific load securement, and CDL skills testing through an approved partner driving school
• Driver Apprenticeship: supervised ride-along and local delivery routes with an assigned driver mentor, progressively increasing responsibility, and formal checkpoints at 30 and 60 days
• Full Driver Status: independent route assignment safely operating a Class A tractor-trailer to deliver glass and aluminum products

Skills You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age 21 for interstate routes (18 permitted for intrastate-only roles, where applicable)
• Valid driver\'s license held continuously for at least 3 years, with no at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years, and no DUI, reckless driving, or license suspension on record
• Able to pass a background check, DOT pre-employment drug screen, and FMCSA Clearinghouse query
• Willingness to sign the Trulite training service agreement
