Job summary

CHEP USA is seeking a Transport Driver for full truckload deliveries and multi-stop routes using Class 8 equipment. You will optimize routes, support growth of CHEP LVR, and collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely asset recovery.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and strong communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Must hold a Class A CDL and have at least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience.

Qualifications

• Class A DOT Driver License.
• Minimum 2 years Tractor-Trailer driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Must obtain and maintain a DOT medical card with no restrictions.
• Ability to hook/unhook trailers from tractors.
• Willing to lift 65 lbs. on an as needed basis.
• Able to develop relationships with new customers.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Able to work autonomously.
• English required; Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CHEP tractor/trailer per DOT Regulations and CHEP Safety requirements.
• Deliver and collect pallets and assets at locations provided by CHEP as efficiently as possible.
• Maintain ongoing mechanical and physical operation of equipment; perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Work with local customers on program compliance to drive efficiencies and increase collection volumes.
• Document all delivery/collection data and communicate to CHEP LVR support personnel.
• Visit potential locations to explain the LVR Program and grow the customer base.
