Job summary

Clean Harbors in Theodore, AL is seeking a Class A CDL Driver / Equipment Operator / Hazmat and Tanker to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites, performing driving and non-driving duties on and off sites related to hazardous waste clean-up.

This role requires completing a paid two-week Academy training (out-of-state if needed) with expenses covered by the company; benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to use mobile devices for job tasks.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and medical/physical as applicable.
• Comply with OSHA/ DOT safety standards and facial hair policy where required.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers in a team setting.
• Drive Class A trucks to customer sites and unload/load vehicles.
• Perform loading/unloading and basic site labor as needed.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets.
• Comply with DOT, state and federal regulations on vehicle operation.
