Job summary

Clean Harbors in Theodore, AL is seeking a Class A CDL Driver / Equipment Operator / Hazmat and Tanker to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites and perform driving and non-driving duties during hazardous waste clean-up.

This position requires new hires to attend a paid two-week Academy training (out of state possible) with expenses covered by the company. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits follow after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Background check, drug test and medical evaluation may be required.
• OSHA respiratory protection standards apply to respirator positions.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks and perform manual labor on site.
• Ensure proper placarding to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Comply with all safety and regulatory requirements.
