Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of road maintenance experience preferred.
• Thorough understanding of commercial driver’s laws (weights, endorsements, hours of service, etc.).
• Basic understanding of mathematics as related to weights.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip inspections, keep truck clean, ensure lubrication and brake adjustments.
• Transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Maintain adequate fuel levels in trucks/equipment.
• Maintain driver e-logs as required by law.
• Communicate over two‑way radios.
• Work on the construction crew as needed at job sites.
• Maintain job site and equipment to professional standards.
• Follow PPE, safety, and company rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

Some of the duties of the position include:

• Responsible for pre/post trip inspections, making sure truck is clean, lubrication is current, and brake adjustments made.
• Responsible for transporting materials and equipment to job sites.
• Ensure adequate fuel levels in truck(s)/equipment.
• Maintain driver e-logs as required by law.
• Communicate over two‑way radios.
• Work on the construction crew as needed while on job sites.
• Maintain job site and equipment to the highest possible standards to maintain a professional image.
• Follow all PPE, safety and company rules are followed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirement for the position include:
