Daniels Health is seeking a dedicated driver with a Class A license to manage medical waste pickups and deliveries across the Baltimore region.

You will operate straight trucks up to 53 ft, maintain DOT compliance, and deliver excellent customer service while meeting tight schedules. This full-time role offers a New Hire Bonus and stability on a 3rd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Class A license with a clean driving record and valid DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight trucks/tractors up to 53 ft.
• Passing the 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Can‑do attitude with a strong customer focus.
• Proven longevity in past employment.
• Touch freight experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout MD/DC.
• Operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53 ft in a safe manner.
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes.
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart weighing up to 200 lbs.

Daniels Health is offering a $3,000 new hire bonus for joining our amazing team in Baltimore!

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class A license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Baltimore, MD area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve?

• Delivering throughout MD/DC

• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
