Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a local route driver based in Easton, PA to cover NYC/NJ/DE/PA with a 26 ft box truck. You will collect sharps and medical waste, deliver safely, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Requirements include a Class B license with a clean driving record, valid DOT medical card, and at least 3 years of experience with 26 ft box trucks. The role offers a 40–50 hour work week, direct hire, benefits from day one, and a $3,000 new hire bonus after probation.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class B licenseand experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Easton, PA area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/DE/PA
• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
