Job summary

Bunzl is hiring a Class A Driver to serve as a trusted ambassador, delivering goods to customer locations with safety and efficiency.

Role requires a valid CDL, clean driving record, and ability to operate various commercial vehicles. You will handle loading/unloading, maintain logs, and comply with DOT rules while enjoying benefits and opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate commercial vehicles.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds; loading/unloading required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Pass background check and drug tests; maintain active medical card.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.

Class A Driver| M-F | 5am Start Time | $28.75/hr.

A Day in the Life

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

The Must-Haves

• Valid Class A CDL.
• A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance

Preferred Requirements

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.
