Job summary

Bunzl is seeking a professional driver to safely operate Class A tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles in domestic routes. You will perform inspections, manage loading/unloading, and ensure timely delivery with strict safety adherence.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and knowledge of DOT regulations. A HazMat endorsement is preferred, and the role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• A clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and assist with loading/unloading.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

A Day in the Life:

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.

The Must-Haves:

What We Prefer:

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.
• HAZMAT IS REQUIRED
