Job Summary

The primary responsibility is to deliver complete, accurate, and on-time deliveries of finished goods and materials to customer construction sites. Also, may pick up materials from warehouses and deliver them to company locations. Responsible for securing loads and compliance with all relevant USDOT and safety regulations.

Pay for this Role

$26.00 per hour - $36.00 per hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and pace own work efficiency to meet productivity goals.
• Maintain trucks and trailers; coordinate repairs.
• Verify cargo is reviewed, secured, and ready for delivery.
• Follow safety and load compliance regulations.
• Deliver loads to job sites and shag trailers as needed, including large construction components in rural areas.
• Maintain logs and paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Stock supplies and track inventory.
• Interface with customers, job site staff, contractors, and regulators, promoting a positive organizational image.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, And Qualifications

• Ability to operate independently in a high-volume environment.
• Lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 75 lbs or more.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current and valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 1 year experience with flatbed, wide load, roller trailer, or lumber yard delivery preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Clean driving record and valid CDL license required.
• Must pass US DOT drug testing.
