Job summary

Maersk is seeking a reliable Class A Truck Driver to join the Lake City, GA team. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Starting pay: $27.00 per hour, with adjustments possible based on market conditions and location. The role involves safe tractor-trailer operation, loading/unloading, and delivering to various locations with touch freight requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver’s license.
• DOT medical exam required.
• Clean driving record (no speeding 15 over; no DUI or criminal history).
• Minimum 1 year verifiable Class A experience.

• Must pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer.
• Load and unload freight using a liftgate and pallet jack when needed.
• Ensure 50% of the time is touch freight.
• Complete timely and accurate deliveries.
• Deliver to commercial and residential locations, approximately 250 miles daily.
• Deliver to stores, warehouses, yards and airports.
• Some installations may be required.

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class A Truck Driver to join our team in Lake City, GA.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Pay

Starting salary: $27.00 per hour. The above stated pay is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
