Job summary

Maersk in Lake City, GA is seeking a Class A Truck Driver to operate a tractor-trailer and complete deliveries to commercial and residential locations. The role requires 50% touch freight and about 250 miles driven daily.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am–5:00pm. Pay is $27.00 per hour, with final starting salary determined in context with market conditions and location. Maersk supports diverse and inclusive hiring practices.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver’s license.
• DOT medical certificate (DOT MEDICAL) required.
• Clean driving record.
• No speeding more than 15 mph over limit.
• No DUI or criminal history.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A experience.
• Must complete full application process.
• Must pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer.
• Load and unload freight using liftgate and pallet jack when needed.
• Touching freight required 50% of the time.
• Complete timely and accurate deliveries.
• Deliver to commercial and residential locations.
• Approximately 250 miles driven daily.
• Deliveries to stores, warehouse, yards, and airport.
• Some installations may be required.

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class A Truck Driver to join our team in Lake City, GA. Candidates MUST HAVE AT Least 1 year of verifiable experience in the last 3 years.

• 50% TOUCH FREIGH
• Pay : $27.00 per hour
• The above stated pay is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
