Job summary

Trulite is seeking a CDL A Driver to join our day shift, Monday through Friday, starting early at 5 am with overtime as needed. This role offers a sign-on bonus and weekly pay, with hotel and per diem for overnights.

You will perform pre/post trip inspections, manage logs, and deliver goods with strong customer service. Ideal candidates have a CDL A license, clean driving record, and at least one year of experience after CDL school.

Qualifications

• CDL A license and valid DOT medical card required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience after CDL school.
• Clean driving record and compliance with safety regulations.
• Able to lift 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Overnight trips up to 2 nights per week with hotel and per diem provided.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck to destination.
• Distributes receipts for load.
• Occasionally collects payment for goods delivered.
• Maintains truck log per state/federal regulations.
• Maintains communication with supervisor for delivery instructions.
• Unloads truck as needed.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies.
• Secures cargo for transit.

CDL A Driver

Up to 2 overnights a week

($4,000 Sign on Bonus ($2,000 at 90 days, $2,000 at 6 months)

Who You Are:

• Someone with previous over the road experience.
• Good driving record.
• Familiar with pre and post trip inspections and using online log systems.

What You Will Be Doing

Successful candidates for the Delivery Driver role are motivated and eager to provide a high level of customer service. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Drives truck to destination.
• Distributes receipts for load picked up.
• Occasionally collects payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges.
• Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
• Maintains telephone and / or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
• Unloads truck as needed.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.

Skills You Bring:

• Must be CDL A Licensed, must pass Driver's Testing, and must pass DOT Physical / Drug Testing
• Minimum one year of experience after CDL school.
• Current and active Class A Driver’s license with good driving record
• Up to 2 overnight trips per week (hotel and per diem provided)
• Previous experience operating a Moffett and boom truck highly preferred
• Previous warehouse experience highly preferred
• Proficient in reading and writing English
• Capable of working in a physically demanding work environment which includes bending; stretching; pushing, pulling and lifting a MINIMUM of 75 LBS; and extensive fast-paced walking in all weather conditions throughout the year
• Knowledge of basic math, ability to read and write the English language, and map reading skills'
