Job summary

Dem-Con Companies in Hugo, MN is seeking a Class A/B roll-off truck driver to perform roll-off collection and disposal of materials.

You will operate heavy trucks, complete pre-trip inspections, provide excellent customer service, and maintain DOT/OSHA compliance and logs.

Candidates must have CDL, pass DOT physical, be 21+, lift 40 lbs, HS diploma or GED with clean driving record; outdoor work in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Minnesota CDL Class A or B license is required.
• DOT physical and health card (valid) required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be 21 years old per DOT.

Description

The Class A roll-off truck driver position is responsible for roll-off collection services to ensure that various materials are transported and disposed of in an appropriate manner.

1. Operates heavy duty commercial trucks, tractor-trailers, and roll-offs
2. Performs required pre-trip & post trip inspections and provides required reports
3. Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
4. Maintains all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
5. Maintains and protects all property
6. Informs on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and/or vehicles
7. Maintains various records and/or logs as needed per DOT regulations
8. Fuels truck at the end of each workday
9. Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

1. Have a valid Minnesota CDL Class A or B driver’s license
2. Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health card and license
3. Ability to lift up 40 pounds
4. Driver must be 21 years old per DOT.

Education and/or experience:

1. High school diploma or GED
2. Must have a clean driving record
