GFL Environmental Inc. seeks an experienced heavy-duty diesel mechanic to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain company-owned or leased trucks and equipment. The role involves travel between Eveleth, Anoka and Bemidji and will not involve garbage trucks.

Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to plan repairs are essential. Work requires using diagnostic software, maintaining accurate records, and following safety regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
• Minimum of two(2) year experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Experience using diagnostic software is a plus.
• Must be computer literate and willing to learn new software systems.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per Company standards.
• Ability to operate vehicles/equipment to perform job.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and repair operational difficulties with heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment.
• Maintain and repair heavy diesel, CNG, gas and electrically operated equipment and vehicles.
• Complete reports, work orders, and procure parts for repairs.
• Plan and schedule repairs in M5 planner and manage parts.
• Assist in reviewing mechanical write-ups and coordinating repair schedules.
• Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with safety regulations.
• Utilize a range of power and hand tools; maintain a tidy work area.
• Maintain knowledge of latest technology via manuals and seminars.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
