Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for Milton, PA and domicile locations. The role offers weekly pay, a strong benefits package, and a rewarding driving career.

You will operate well-maintained, safe trucks, with 36 months or newer equipment and 24/7 roadside support. Positions include a $3,000 sign-on bonus ($1,500 at 30 days, $1,500 at 90 days) and weekly pay of $1,600+ with layover and route premium pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

$83,200 yearly average - and it gets ever better

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• $1600 or more weekly
• Performance Based pay (miles plus stops)
• Layover Pay: $30.00 per night out
• Signed-On Bonus: $3,000 paid out $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days
• Route Premium Pay
• Domicile Locations: Albany NY, Rochester NY, Buffalo NY, Boston MA, New Haven CT, Hartford, CT, Wilmington DE, Philadelphia PA (will be home every other weekend)

• Schedule: Sunday-Thursday/Friday
• Start Time: AM dispatch

• Minimum 21 years of age
