Job summary

Sunset Distributing is seeking a Class-A Delivery Driver to join our team in the San Diego/San Marcos area. You will unload orders, place them in the correct area, rotate stock per company standards, and work independently to meet DOT and safety expectations.

The role requires an independent worker with the physical ability to handle loading/unloading, a strong customer-service focus, and the stamina to complete daily routes within DOT guidelines. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with dependable transportation for territory travel.
• Clean driving record with few or no infractions.
• Prior merchandising or stocking experience in a retail sales environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds constantly, and 160 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, squat, twist, and reach constantly.
• Reliable time management, routing, and follow-through across multiple store locations.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Company programs and policies that ensure safe, timely delivery, maximize sales, and minimize returns.
• Conduct a daily pre-tip inspection of the assigned vehicle.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations.
• Follow the approved delivery structure and processes.
